Roza Gadieva’s Rising Influence:
From Miss Europe to Global Environmental Ambassador

Miss Roza Gadieva, Jury member at the Miss Environment International 2025 in the Philippinnes

Manila, Philippines – Roza Gadieva, Miss Europe 2024, continues to solidify her global icon status by transcending the boundaries of beauty pageants to establish herself as a powerful voice for social and environmental commitment. As the first Tatar woman to win the Miss Europe title, she recently participated as an honorary guest and jury member at the Miss Environment International 2025 competition in the Philippines.

A Celebrated Charisma and Strong Commitment

The event, held in the Philippines—a country particularly vulnerable to climate impacts—served as a significant international platform for Roza Gadieva. Greeted with charisma, she even shared the stage during the opening night with The Black Eyed Peas’ lead vocalist.
When asked about her experience as a judge, Roza Gadieva highlighted the unique nature of the competition. According to her, Miss Environment is « much more than just a beauty pageant, it’s a movement » aiming to identify passionate and informed ambassadors capable of carrying strong messages about sustainability, climate change, and the protection of our ecosystems.

The Uniqueness: Activism Beyond Aesthetics

For Miss Europe 2024, the major distinctiveness of the contest lies in the total integration of the environmental cause into every stage of the competition.
She explains that the jury did not evaluate typical evening gowns, but rather concrete projects. Each candidate had to present their initiative, detail its budget, and outline its impact goals before a panel of experts.
« The selection criterion is focused on activism and authenticity. As a jury, we were not looking for the most beautiful woman, but the most powerful voice, the one who knows how to transform her title into a real platform for action. The crown is a tool, not an end in itself, » asserts Roza Gadieva.

This year, the crown was awarded to Arianna Pantaleon from the Philippines, while Trisha Ahwera (Uganda) and Rebecca Baptiste (Trinidad and Tobago) were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Tatar and Russian Success Confirms Influence

The influence of the region represented by Roza Gadieva was evident during the ceremony. Russia also shone, with Karina Iskanderova winning 1st place in the Talent Show. Similarly, Anastasia Grafinha, representing Tatarstan, received the Best Video Presentation and Best Contribution awards, confirming the cultural strength and talent of the delegation.

The Queen’s Advice:Be Strategic

Roza Gadieva, whose victory makes her an ambassador for Tatar culture and a role model for leadership, offered candid advice to the contestants.
To the new winners, she advises them to be strategic. « Your reign must be a year of hard work. Use the visibility offered by this title to expand the impact of your initial project. Collaborate with NGOs, governments, and the private sector. Don’t be afraid to be technical and political. Beauty opens the doors, but your knowledge of the issues must keep them open. »
As for those who did not receive the crown, she encourages them not to view it as a failure: « Continue your project with the same energy. The title is an amplifier, but it is not the engine. The most important thing is not to be Miss Environment, but to be an ambassador for the environment in your own community. Never stop acting. »
Through her role as a judge and her public stance, Roza Gadieva demonstrates that the new generation of beauty queens is resolutely focused on concrete action and commitment, inspiring women worldwide to become leaders of opinion.
